FRANKFURT, 23. APRIL 2002. Anläßlich der Baumesse CONECO fanden in Bratislava am 8. und am 9. April Sitzungen des FAECF Management Committees und des FAECF Euro-Clubs statt. FAECF ist der europäische Dachverband der nationalen Fenster- und Fassadenherstellerverbände. Neben den üblichen Regularien standen das künftige CE-Zeichen für Fenster und Fassaden sowie die Entwicklung auf den mittel- und osteuropäischen Märkten im Zentrum des Interesses. | FRANKFURT, 23 APRIL 2002. The FAECF Management Council and the FAECF EuroClub met during the CONECO construction fair in Bratislava on 8 and 9 April. FAECF is the European federation of the national window and curtain walling associations. In addition to regular business issues, the meetings focused on the future CE-marking of windows and curtain walling, and the state of play of the markets of East and Central Europe. |
Nach dem entschlossenen Vorstoß von EuroWindoor im Herbst letzten Jahres ist der Entwurf für die europäischen Produktnormen für Fenster und Außentüren sowie für Fassaden nunmehr von CEN veröffentlicht und zur ersten Abstimmung gestellt worden. Es ist damit zu rechnen, dass die Endabstimmung noch dieses Jahr erfolgt und dieses Normenwerk bis Ende 2002 in Kraft tritt. Dies ist die Voraussetzung für die Vergabe des CE-Zeichens, welches als eine Art "Reisepass" für Bauprodukte den ungehinderten Handel auf dem europäischen Binnenmarkt ermöglicht. Wie Libero Ravaioli, der Präsident von FAECF, und Karl Heinz Herbert, der Generalsekretär des Verbandes, bei dem MC-Treffen betonten, wird FAECF eine Aktion starten, um die Mitgliedsverbände auf diese Entwicklung vorzubereiten. Bis zum Herbsttreffen von EuroWindoor vom 31. Oktober bis 2. November 2002 in Spanien soll ein Leitfaden zum CE-Zeichen erarbeitet werden. | After the vigorous demand for action undertaken by EuroWindoor in fall of last year, CEN has now published the draft European product standards for window/external pedestrian doors and curtain walling and submitted them for formal vote. Final vote is expected to be completed this year so that the standards will become effective by late 2002. This is one prerequisite for application of the CE-mark, a "passport" which ensures trade without barriers for construction products in the European market. According to Mr. Libero Ravaioli, president of FAECF, and as stated by Karl Heinz Herbert, its secretary general, at the MC-meeting, FAECF will launch an action for its members to get prepared for the new situation. A guide on CE-marking will be prepared until the fall meeting of EuroWindoor in Spain from 31 October to 2 November 2002. |
Das zentrale Thema des Euro-Club Treffens war die Entwicklung der Märkte in Mittel- und Osteuropa. Eine detaillierte Marktanalyse verdeutlichte deren Potential und bildete den Hintergrund für einen Erfahrungsaustausch. FAECF wird in Zukunft sein Engagement auf diesen Märkten verstärken und die schon bestehenden Kontakte vertiefen. Insbesondere ist geplant, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem russischen Verband eines der nächsten Euro-Club Treffen in Russland durchzuführen. Weiterhin wurde beschlossen, ein Internet-Forum einzurichten, in dem die Zusammenarbeit der Mitgliedsfirmen untereinander und mit den Systemhäusern und allen weiteren im Fassadenbau Beteiligten intensiviert werden soll. | Key issue of the Euro-Club meeting was the growth of the central and eastern European markets. A detailed market analysis underlined their potential and provided an opportunity to share experiences. FAECF will increase its activities for these markets in the future and strengthen existing relations. One of the next EuroClub meetings is planned to be held in Russia in collaboration with the Russian association. Furthermore, it was decided to set up an Internet forum to promote contacts of member companies, system houses and all other stakeholders in fenestration. |
Die Studienreise von FAECF/EuroWindoor führt Ende September nach China. Auf dem vorläufigen Besuchsprogramm stehen unter anderem Peking, Schanghai, Kanton und Hongkong. Alle führenden Fassadenbaubetriebe Chinas stehen auf der Besuchsliste. | The FAECF/EuroWindoor study tour will take place in China in September. The provisional itinerary includes Beijing, Shanghai, Canton and Hong Kong. The list of companies to be visited covers all leading curtain walling companies of China. |
